Library time!

Every Friday the Reception class have been going to the school library for Rhyme time where we have sang familiar nursery rhymes and have enjoyed a story read by Mr Town.

This term we have shortened our rhyme time session so that the children, along with their families, can spend a bit of time looking at the books we have available in the library. Some of the children have been able to take their favorite book home for the weekend.

The Farm!

In April, Reception children went for a visit to St Werburghs City Farm. We spent the morning looking at all the different animals they have. We got to feed the sheep and goats, we looked for eggs in the chicken coop and we even got to stroke some four day old lambs. It was great fun!
